Overview
Mount Bazardüzü (4,466 m) is the highest peak in Azerbaijan, on the main ridge of the Greater Caucasus. On this group departure we climb it on set dates in July and August 2027, with a small group of 5 to 10 hikers. You can join on your own or bring friends.
We spend both nights at the high camp below the summit, at about 3,200 m. The first night helps your body adjust to the altitude, and on summit day we start close to the top. The route is non-technical, so you don’t need climbing skills. It is a long, steep day at high altitude, though, and it suits fit hikers with some multi-day trekking experience.
Horses carry the tents and shared gear up to camp, and you can book a horse for your own backpack too. Food isn’t included in the price. We bring a shared gas stove to camp, and you can bring your own meals or order ready-made outdoor meal packs from us in advance.
