Hike Away LLC was founded with the aim of developing meaningful trekking and mountain travel experiences in Azerbaijan. Our work is shaped by time spent in the mountains, engagement with local communities, and a long-term commitment to responsible, well-paced travel.
Our Background
Founded in 2023, Hike Away builds on several years of prior experience in trekking, route development, and mountain-based projects in Azerbaijan. From the beginning, the focus has been on multi-day trekking, realistic pacing, and thoughtful route design in mountain regions.
Over time, our work has expanded to include guided treks, selected high-altitude expeditions, self-guided routes with different levels of local support, and collaboration with organizations and partners working in mountain and rural contexts.
